Saint Lawrence made most of the running and stayed on strongly to defeat Dhahabi (Frankel) by three-quarters of a length with Francesco Guardi (Frankel) filling the minor placing.
Trained by Roger Varian, Saint Lawrence is a half-brother to two winners including Gr2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket winner Daahyeh (Bated Breath).
Their dam Affluent (Oasis Dream) is a winning half-sister to Gr2 Flying Five at The Curragh winner and sire Deportivo, Gr3 Supreme Stakes at Goodwood winner So Beloved (Dansili) and UK Listed winner Irish Vale.
The granddam Valencia (Kenmare) is a half-sister to four stakes winners, notably Gr1 Wandesta (Nashwan).
Four-time Gr1 winner Al Kazeem (Dubawi) is now standing at Oakgrove Stud in Monmouthshire.
