Philomene is SW200 for Dubawi remaining unbeaten in the Gr3 Prix Penelope (2100m) at Saint-Cloud.
Philomene raced in fourth placed to the home straight where she made smooth progress to draw upsides Incarville inside the final 300m, accelerating clear and going on to defeat Incarville (Wootton Bassett) by 2-1/2 lengths with Anasia (Intello) the same distance away third (pic: Twitter).
A winner on debut last year at ParisLongchamp, Philomene is raced by a partnership of Godolphin, Ecurie des Monceaux and Ecurie Skymarc Farm.
Sold at Arqana as a €1,625,000 yearling, Philomene is a half-sister to Gr1 Mackinnon Stakes at Flemington winner Magic Wand (Galileo) and Gr1 Irish Oaks winner Chicquita (Montjeu).
Their dam Prudenzia (Dansili) won the Listed prix de la Seine at Longchamp and a half-sister to Lingfield Derby Trial winner English King (Camelot) and Gr3 Prix de Lutece at Longchamp winner Pacifique (Montjeu), the dam of Prix de Lutece winner Paix (Muhaarar).
Dubawi is the first British-based stallion to sire 200 stakes winners.
