19 for All Too Hard

Outrageous is SW19 for All Too Hard winning Saturday’s Gr3 Festival Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill.

Outrageous turned for home in second place, striking the front 250m out and then staving off the rally from Royal Celebration (Excelebration) to score.

It is the fifth win from 29 starts for the five-year-old Outrageous, a $460,000 Magic Millions yearling from the Vinery draft in 2017.

Outrageous is a brother to a winner and half-brother to Gr3 West Australian Oaks winner Very Tempting (Redoute’s Choice).

Their dam Fit And Ready (More Than Ready) won in Sydney and a half-sister to Gr1 Golden Slipper Stakes winner and sire Catbird (Danehill) and Gr2 Pago Pago Stakes at Rosehill winner Danbird (Danehill).

Fit And Ready is also a half-sister to Sydney winner Sprinkler (Danehill), the granddam of Brisbane Listed winner Centre Pivot (More Than Ready) and to Coat (Brocco), the unraced dam of Gr3 Norman Robinson Stakes at Moonee Valley winner Pillar Of Hercules (Rock Of Gibraltar).

The granddam Fitting (Marscay) won the Listed Gimcrack Stakes at Randwick and a sister to Gr2 Black Opal Stakes at Canberra winner and sire Maizcay.

Gr1 winner All Too Hard (Casino Prince) is advertised at $27,5000 at Vinery Stud in 2020. He has 2yo Listed winner Forbidden Love out of a mare by More Than Ready and has Gr2 Sandown Guineas winner Villermont with Marscay as his maternal grandsire.
