Punita Arora came from off the pace to win the Committed Stakes (5 1/2f) at Naas and SW17 for Sepoy.
Bred by Shadwell Stud, Punita Arora sold for 41,000gns as a yearling at Tattersalls, then was bought in at the same venue for 180,000gns last December.
Her dam Wojha (Pivotal) won in England and a half-sister to Gr3 Fred Darling Stakes at Newbury winner Muthabara, was sold by Shadwell for €50,000 at the 2017 Goffs November Sale to Yeomanstown Stud.
Champion 2&3yo Sepoy shuttled for Darley between Australia and the UK and now stands at Darley’s Victorian base where he is advertised at $7,700 in 2020.
The best of his 317 winners to date is champion Godolphin filly Alizee in Australia while in Europe he is responsible for the German 1000 Guineas winner Unforgettable Filly.
