Melody Belle added her 12th win at Group 1 level in Saturday’s Livamol Classic at Hastings, the win elevated her alongside US Champion Azeri for the number of wins at the highest level.
On the same day Verry Elleegant landed her sixth win at the highest level in Australia’s Caulfield Cup.
We’ve looked at the number of multiple female Group or Grade 1 winners since the pattern was introduced in the 1970s and compiled a list below, the top two on the list the Australian champions Winx and Black Caviar.
