Alkumait is SW44 for Showcasing after winning Saturday’s Gr2 Mill Reef Stakes (6f) at Newbury. Settled off the early speed set by Fivethousandtoone, Alkumait crept closer on the rails side approaching the final two furlongs then stayed on strongly to defeat Fivethousandtoone (Frankel) by three-quarters of a length with Rhythm Master (Dark Angel) in third.
