Star Of Emaraaty is the first European SW for Pride Of Dubai after winning the Gr3 Sweet Solera Stakes (7f) at Newmarket.
Allowed to settle towards the rear in the early stages, Star Of Emaraaty came with a strong finish up the hill to collar longtime leader Dubai Fountain (Dubawi) and score by 1-1/4 lengths with Seattle Rock (Fastnet Rock) in third.
Inbred 4×3 to Danzig, Star Of Emaraaty was unsold at €6,800 at the Goffs 2019 February sale and then made €3,500 at the Goffs Sportsman’s Sale. She was unsold at £115,000 at the Tattersalls Ascot Online sale earlier this year.
She is the second winner for La Grande Elisa (Ad Valorem), a oncew-raced half-sister to three-time Gr1 winner and sire Rip Van Winkle (Galileo) and Italian Gr3 winner Le Vie Infinite (Le Vie dei Colori).
The granddam Looking Back (Stravinsky) won twice in Italy and was Listed placed.
Gr1 winner Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) was Leading First-season sire in Australia last season and shuttles between Coolmore in Australia and Ireland.
