First for Mehmas

Method remains unbeaten after winning the Rose Bowl Stakes (6f) at Newbury and is the first SW for Mehmas.

Method was settled in behind the front running Mighty Gurkha through the first half before coming to challenge two furlongs out. The pair had a brief tussle before Method drew away to defeat Mighty Gurkha (Sepoy) with Imperial Yellow (New Bay) third.

A €16,000 Goffs November foal, Method sold to Dermot Farrington for €20,000 as a Goffs UK Premier yearling.

He is the second winner for his dam Darsan (Iffraaj) a winning half-sister to dual UK Listed winner Bella Tusa (Sri Pekan) and UK Listed winner La Vita E Bella (Definite Article), the granddam of Gr2 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood winner Dutch Connection (Dutch Art).

Mehmas (Acclamation) won four of his eight starts at two, notably the Gr2 July Stakes at Newmarket and Gr2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood.

He currently has nine first-crop winners and is advertised at 7,500 at Tally Ho Stud in Ireland in 2020.
