Chamade is SW20 for Sepoy winning Saturday’s Gillies Fillies Stakes (10f) at Doncaster.
Chamade made virtually all the running, ridden along two furlongs out then staying on strongly to defeat Trefoil (Teofilo) by three-quarters of a length with Ice Sprite (Zoffany).
Raced by breeders Mr & Mrs David Aykroyd, Chamade is now the winner of three of her seven starts and had previously been Listed-placed.
She is a half-sister to two winners including dual Australian Gr3 winner Brimham Rocks, also Gr1 placed in the Metropolitan Handicap at Randwick.
The dam Chamade (Authorized) placed in the Listed Oaks Trial at Lingfield and a three-quarter sister to Braveheart Handicap at Hamilton winner Eradicate (Montjeu) and a half-sister to Gr3 Park Express Stakes at The Curragh winner Oh Goodness Me (Galileo).
Champion 2yo Sepoy (Elusive Quality) is now a permanent resident at Darley Victoria where he is advertised at $7,700.
